Hi,

I'm Teela Charles

A systems strategist, transformation architect, and community-centered leader helping organizations and communities build what can hold growth.

With over 15 years of experience spanning mental health, social welfare, and community systems transformation, I've spent my career building infrastructure that holds people — not just programs.

From for-profit and non-profit executive leadership to founding my own private practice, to appearing as an expert therapist on OWN Network's Family or Fiancé, to publishing my own work on the intersection of identity, systems, and sustainable growth — every chapter has led here.

I realized early that the systems we build determine the growth we can sustain. That's why I founded Rooted Capacity — to bring together clinical insight, strategic vision, community development, and embodiment into one ecosystem.
